Flat and somewhat short, despite the 614 yard, par-5 17th hole, this Anaheim municipal golf course was named for Los Angeles area golf legend H.G. "Dadi" Miller. Affordable, and very walkable at $23-$32 for 18 holes. Par-71, 6,025 yards from the tips.
Anaheim Hills Golf Course

Considered one of, if not the best golf values in Orange County. A par-71, 6,245 yard classic styled course winding its way through the hills of Anaheim. Well-manicured fairways and greens lined with mature Oaks and other native California arboreal features. Designed by Richard Bigler, "The Hills" brags of a view from every tee.
Black Gold Golf Club

Measuring 6756 yards from the championship tees, this Arthur Hills designed Orange County golf course offers views from the mountains to the Pacific Ocean. The golf course features the highest elevation of any tee in Orange County, and elevation changes are par for the course on this hilly track. Green fees sneak into three figures on the weekends.
Coyote Hills Golf Course

Designed by Cal Olsen and the late, great Payne Stewart, Coyote Hills offers a top of the line Southern California golf experience in the foothills of Orange County. The golf course features running streams and waterfalls as well as top notch playing conditions year-round. The 6,510 yard, par-70 track will set you back a few bucks though, with green fess in the $90-$120 range.

This spectacular course is all about the Pacific Ocean, with views from every hole. A traditional links style track measuring a scant 6,344 yards from the championship tees, Monarch Beach may sound short, but what it lacks in length it more than makes up for in challenging course design. The course is host to several PGA team and match play events, as well as charity and amateur tournaments every year. Green fees are in the $80-$124 range.
San Clemente Municipal Golf Course

Popular and heavily played, this Southern California par-72 course measures 6,447 yards from the back tees and offers Pacific Ocean views from numerous holes. A bargain with green fees in the $20-$49 range, San Clemente Municipal offers a great representation of Orange County golf.

Tustin Ranch offers a very unique experience in the realm of public golf courses this day and age: caddies. Their well renowned caddie program is one of a kind in Orange County. The course is self is top notch, but watch out for the greens- multi-tiered and very well groomed, theyíre one reason why a caddie is recommended for this course. Green fees are in the $90-$115.
